Sangiovese from the volcanic hills of Alta Tuscia near Lake Bolsena in Lazio, Italy. 100% destemmed, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 5 days of skin contact plus 3 weeks in steel tanks, followed by 22 months in multi-pass French oak barriques and 18 months of bottle aging.

Only 83 cases made, this is a very special wine with excellent aging potential yet also drinking great now.
