2024 Stagiaire 'Plastic Stars Paper Moons' Riesling

This label returns for the first time since 2022. No longer Viognier. This is Riesling planted on a steep slope over Corralitos in one of the coldest vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Farmed regeneratively and no-till since inception on sandstone soils. I leaned into the Alsace vibes for this wine, waiting as long as we could to pick to get as much ripeness as possible. Clocking in at about 13.8% abv but with tons of the quintessential acid we know and love the grape for. A small amount of botrytis. Aged for 20 months in used barrels. Lux.
