2025 Caleb Leisure 'Forty Pulses' Pinot Noir

A brooding Pinot Noir from the very cool Green Valley sub-appelation of the Russian River Valley. The fruit comes from a beautiful little 3 acre vineyard farmed by my friend Darek Trowbridge of Old World Winery, who happens to be the best farmer I know. This wine picked up tannin quickly, and declared itself very early on to be a serious wine in need of time. 2 years in clay and 2 years in the bottle before releasing. Serious and layered.

PRODUCTION NOTES: Fermented and aged in qvevri. 8 day maceration.
