Blend of Verduzzo del Collio with 25 botanicals and three types of absinthe, produced in small-batch artisanal quantities in Polcenigo, Friuli‑Venezia Giulia. Aromas of cola, mulling spice and gingerbread cookies with slight sweetness continue on the palate, picking up orchard fruits alongside marsala, ripe black cherry, mint and sweet herbs; rich, very smooth, and enjoyable straight, on the rocks, with seltzer or in craft cocktails.
Starts with aged Verduzzo. Aromas of cola, mulling spice, gingerbread cookies and slight sweetness. The aromas continue on the palate, picking up orchard fruits on the way. Delicious straight!
From Polcenigo in Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Frederico Cremasco combines 25 botanicals, many hand-foraged from the nearby Dolomites, with Verduzzo del Collio, a high-quality native wine, and three different types of absinthe to create this bold vermouth. Notes of marsala, ripe black cherry, mint, and sweet herbs. Rich and sophisticated, very smooth, this small-batch, artisanal vermouth is delightful to drink on its own, on the rocks, with seltzer, or mixed in craft cocktails.
